Sherman's Deli is a culinary treasure that serves authentic New York style Jewish food in the middle of the Desert. Nothing fancy or pretentious, Sherman's is where the locals patiently line up for clean kosher comfort food at any time of the day. Built in the early 1960s during the halcyon days of the Californian Desert, the deli has two locations - one in Palm Springs and one in Palm Desert - which are run by a brother and sister team who have continued in the respected tradition of their late father. The walls of the restaurants are hung with photographs of famous celebrities who have savoured the 'double helping' sized servings over the years. Traditional favourites include the Homemade Potato Pancakes, the Grilled Reuben, the Corned Beef and Cabbage and the Strawberry Shortcake. By avoiding the dinner rush, early diners are rewarded with fewer line-ups and lower prices on dinner orders.

The hotel is fabulous and convenient for romantic couples and golfers, while the Villas 1 and 2 offer spacious family style accommodation with kitchen and balcony and frequent shuttle bus service back and forth to the main hotel.
